Update!

2/5/2017

It is a new year, and I am focusing even more on my goals than ever.  Which is why I'm here, updating my website.

2016 flew by, here are some headlights:
  • Ten Dollar House for Pride Films and Plays in January;
  • In February I was a teaching artist for a Fight Night workshop at ISU
  • In March and April I performed in Lester's Dreadful Sweaters for Lifeline Theater, and recorded my first-ever Original Cast Recording!
  • In March and April I also participated in 5B Performances at the iO Theater
  • In April I participated in a staged reading of A Woman Onstage, a new musical, for Pride Films and Plays
  • In May, we performed Ten Dollar House in the play's historical setting, Mineral Point, WI.
  • In May, I performed Monday Night Live at iO.
  • From May to June I understudied in Pride Films and Plays' The Boys Upstairs.
  • In June I served as Props Designer, Box Office, and Associate Producer of Cat in Heat for Nothing Special Productions
  • Over the course of the year, I performed with my improv teams, Testarossa and FOWOCop.
  • In July, I shot my first Commercial, which you can see here!
  • In August, I produced and hosted the Nothing Special Roast of Brian Rohde
  • In September I produced two events for Nothing Special Productions which combined raised $1000 for Rape Victim Advocates: Fight Night: Valkyries, an evening of scenes involving stage combat which challenged each company to create a scene featuring two female-identified (or non-conforming) actors and/or featuring a female-identified (or non-conforming) fight choreographer; and a staged reading of The Subject by Carolyn Kras, part of a global protest against sexual assault and the lenient criminal sentence of Brock Turner, The Subject Project.
  • In October, I returned to the role of Abraham Lincoln, in a one-man play for school audiences for Historical Perspectives for Children.  I had performed the role for the school years of 2008-09 and 2009-10, and I was very excited to tell the story of Lincoln again, as his story is more relevant than ever.
  • In December, I produced and hosted A Very Special Nothing Special Holiday Special, for the fourth consecutive year.  Bringing together all of my NSP friends, some awesome acts and former collaborators, along with wonderful new performers made this event really special.

2017 has started with a lot of change, which I am very excited about, and will update very shortly.  Thanks for reading!
